Sales Bonus Plan

United Laboratories’ Sales Bonus Plan is designed to reward true sales growth.  It is intended for the sole purpose of rewarding sales improvement and for going above and beyond the level achieved during the previous year.

The 2009 Sales Bonus Plan is based on ANNUAL sales performance, yet provides you with the option of a Quarterly Bonus Advance payout.  With that in mind, you will be provided an Annual Bonus Quota and a corresponding year-to-date, Quarterly Bonus Quota. 

To qualify for a 2009 Sales Bonus payment you must achieve a minimum of $187,500 CND in shipped, qualifying sales between January 1, 2009 and December 31, 2009.  In addition, you must have a minimum of a 1% increase over your 2008 shipped qualifying sales.  The amount of bonus moneys earned will be based on your percentage of growth over the prior year according to four levels of payout that range from 5% to 15%.  This bonus will be paid on your growth sales dollars exceeding the minimum required $187,500 CND and will be capped at the 15% growth level.
 
As you achieve your year-to-date Quarterly Bonus Quotas you will be paid a “bonus” as an advance of earning your Annual Bonus.  This Quarterly Bonus Advance will be paid based on the growth achieved over the same year-to-date time period in the previous year.  As this is an advance payment, you will be paid a maximum 25% of the actual year-to-date earned bonus payable. This maximum 25% Quarterly Bonus Advance payment is being put in place to minimize any variance due at the end of the year.
